Privacy & Data Policy
This policy explains what information VibeLyf ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using VibeLyf you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
You give us
- Account information — if you create an account, your email address and authentication details (handled by our auth provider, Supabase).
- Content you create — prompts, messages, generated apps, and any handles or links you add to your feeds.
Collected automatically
- Local storage — preferences such as your age confirmation, cookie choices, theme, and the social handles you add are stored in your browser (not sent to us unless you have an account).
- Usage & device data — if you opt in to analytics, we collect basic usage events, browser type, and approximate region to improve the product.
2. How AI processing works
When you ask VibeLyf to build or generate something, the text of your request (and any image you upload) is sent to third-party large-language-model providers to produce the result. These providers currently include Cloudflare (Workers AI), Anthropic (Claude), Groq, and Cerebras. We do not send them more than is needed to fulfil your request, and we route these calls through our own server so provider API keys are never exposed in your browser. AI-generated artifacts are labeled with an "AI Generated" badge.
3. Cookies & local storage
We use a small number of essential browser-storage items to run the app (your consent choices, age confirmation, and preferences). We use analytics storage only if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner or enable analytics in Privacy & Data choices. You can withdraw consent at any time using the "Privacy" or "Do Not Sell or Share" links in the app.
4. Analytics & advertising
- Analytics — when enabled, we may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool (PostHog) to understand how features are used. Analytics are off by default.
- Affiliate links — some shopping links in VibeLyf may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you make a purchase. This never changes the price you pay.
5. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve VibeLyf and its features.
- To generate the apps, code, and responses you request.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
6. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run VibeLyf, and only as needed: hosting and delivery (Cloudflare), authentication and database (Supabase), the AI providers listed above, and analytics (if you opted in). We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (GDPR/UK GDPR), or to know about and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (California CCPA/CPRA and similar US state laws).
- Do Not Sell or Share — use the "Do Not Sell or Share" link in the app, or email us. We do not sell personal information; this control also disables non-essential analytics.
- Access / deletion (DSAR) — email support@elev8ai.org. We respond within 45 days.
8. Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and server-side handling of secrets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
VibeLyf is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International users
VibeLyf is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information may be processed in the US and other countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
